Dave Sepety

David Sepety is a retired chef who relocated to the Eastern Shore in 2018.  David started drawing as a young kid.  As a teen Dave worked for a sign company and painted billboards.  Later he painted signs professionally when he wasn’t working in restaurants.  Dave also worked in a frame shop where he framed his future wife’s artwork.  Dave has been collecting and painting the bottoms of crab baskets for many years. 

He likes watercolor, acrylics and mixed media.After moving to the Eastern Shore, Dave took a carving class at the Barrier Islands Center and put his mark on his art by combining his painted carvings with driftwood found on the beach. Dave loves the Shore life and enjoys spending time fishing from the Red Wing boat he built.
